Residential Valuer

Salary: Competitive; dependent upon experience

Location: Towcester

An opportunity has arisen for a residential valuer to join our busy and expanding team based in our Towcester office in South Northamptonshire, being responsible to the Office Partner.

The role is primarily focused on provision of valuation reports and advice to housing associations and private clients. The ability to deliver valuation and homebuyer reports is essential; knowledge of site appraisals and advising housing associations in general is desirable.

Reports for lenders are currently a low proportion of the work but this may be expanded in the future.

The position is office-based with secretarial support but the surveyor will be required to provide fee quotes, arrange some appointments and to manage their work to meet deadlines under their own initiative.

The work will require travel on a daily basis in the Midlands area, mainly across Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire, Leicestershire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.

Skills and Experience

Candidates should have experience in delivering a high volume of reports on residential property. A thorough understanding of the process and a proven ability to deliver reports on time is essential.

Must be an RICS Registered Valuer with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the residential valuation market.
