Berrys appoints Oliver Hill as design manager at Shrewsbury

Leading property, business and planning firm Berrys has expanded its architectural services department with the appointment of a new design manager at the Shrewsbury office.
Oliver Hill has joined the growing team at Shrewsbury bringing with him 25 years of experience in design, working predominantly for multi-disciplinary architectural practices and more recently for a local developer.
His wealth of experience includes working on a variety of projects including listed buildings, master planning large-scale residential housing developments, designing barn conversions, student accommodation, hotels and schools. He has worked on numerous commercial and retail projects for companies such as John Lewis, Premier Inn, Marstons, Starbucks and Countrywide Stores. He also has experience of space planning office layouts in for the BBC and Barclays Capital.
Academically, Oliver gained his RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) Part 1 BA(Hons) Architecture and Part 2 Postgraduate Diploma in Architecture at the University of Humberside.
He is currently working towards completing his RIBA Part 3 Advanced Diploma in Professional Practice in Architecture which will allow him to become an architect and Chartered Member of the RIBA.
On the home front he lives in a self-build listed barn conversion on the edge of Berriew with his wife, three sons (16,14 and 12) and Jack Russell Terrier. Outside of work he enjoys playing golf and tennis and skiing with the family.
