Rent Reviews

The formal process of a rent review is usually carried out every 3 to 5 years providing a re-assessment of the appropriate rental value which takes into account the current rental market and relevant case law.

Successful rent review negotiations require an accurate understanding of market trends and values, in addition to an expert knowledge of the impact of lease clauses.

Berrys has a team of experienced surveyors well placed to advise on any type of rent review, utilising their in depth knowledge of property law in all sectors – commercial, residential and agricultural.

We have many years of experience acting for both landlords and tenants, in dealing with lease renewals for a variety of properties.

Berrys are qualified to act for both landlords and tenants, allowing us to offer either side expert advice. We will ensure the process includes a thorough examination of the existing lease, in depth market research for all relevant areas and robust negotiations with the opposing party.
