The town of Thrapston has a population of around 6,500 people and offers a wide range of facilities, shops and amenities. The town is served by a Primary School with secondary education provided at the nearby Prince William School, Oundle.

The town hosts a historic farmers’ market on first Saturday of every month as well as Thrapston Livestock Centre with sales taking place on Thursdays and Saturdays. The property is located close to the town centre and directly across the road from the Livestock Centre.
