Hundreds of people dropped in on the Berrys stand at Shropshire County Show last weekend to enjoy a glass of champagne and a canapé to celebrate the firm’s 125th anniversary.
“Shropshire County is the first on the show calendar for us and we were delighted at the number of people who took the time out of their busy show day to join us on the stand to celebrate our anniversary,” said Emily Barber, marketing manager with Berrys at Shrewsbury.
As well as enjoying a tipple and some light refreshments visitors to the stand were able to chat with Berrys partners and staff about matters that are concerning them.
Look out for Berrys’ stands at the following shows: Newport Show (July 11); Nantwich Show (July 29) Oswestry Show (August 1); Blakesley Show (August 1); Burwarton Show (August 6) ; Minsterley Show (August 8); Kington Show (September 12) and Cheshire Ploughing Match (September 30).
Berrys is a diverse practice of chartered surveyors, property specialists and town planners and representatives from each of these sectors will be at the shows.
The business, which now has five offices across the Midlands and North West, started in 1890 in Northamptonshire when John and Edmund Berry joined Levi Bagshaw to form auctioneers Berry Brothers & Bagshaw at Kettering.
