What Is A Red Book Valuation?
The Red Book is the name of the RICS Valuation Standards. These set out the standard framework for preparing valuation reports.
All formal valuations have to comply with the Red Book.
Do You Undertake Valuations For Banks/Lending Institutions?
Yes, we regularly provide property valuation services for lenders. We are on the panels for Barclays, Lloyds Banking and some Handelsbanken branches. Lending valuations are normally instructed by the lender, not the borrower.
Do You Undertake Probate Valuations?
Yes, we undertake probate valuations for Inheritance Tax purposes (probate applications). This is carried out on behalf of the executor of a deceased’s estate.
Do You Undertake Staircasing/Shared Ownership Valuations?
Yes, we regularly undertake valuations for staircasing and shared ownership, as well as help-to-buy valuations and right to buy applications.
