Berrys adopts Air Ambulance as recognised charity for third year running
Published March 4th, 2014
Following two successful fund raising years, leading chartered surveyors group Berrys has chosen to adopt the Air Ambulance Service as its recognised charity for the third year running.
Over the past two years Berrys’ staff across the Midlands and North West raised more than £5,500 for Midlands Air Ambulance, North West Air Ambulance and Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.
“Air Ambulance is an extremely valuable organisation, particularly to the rural communities we as a business serve and I am pleased to announce that it will be our recognised charity for a third year,” said Emily Barber, Berrys marketing manager.
Over the past two years staff have organised a number of different fundraising events including sky dives, quizzes and sponsored walks and they are busy planning this year’s schedule too. A quiz held in Cheshire at the end of last year raised £219.20 for North West Air Ambulance.
The Air Ambulance is an independent charity providing a life saving, rapid response emergency service to millions of people across the country. It flies seven days a week, 365 days a year, covering a vast landscape that not only includes towns, cities and motor ways but also rural areas and isolated locations.
