Development Overview

Rectory Farm is a small development site in the village of Achurch south of the town of Oundle, Northamptonshire. Achurch is a picturesque rural village located on the east side of the Nene Valley in the open countryside and within a few miles from the thriving historic market towns of Oundle and Thrapston. The village has a church with other amenities being available in the neighbouring villages of Wadenhoe, Thorpe Waterville and Aldwincle.

The nearby town of Oundle provides an excellent range of independent shops, a regular farmers’ market as well as a range of public houses and churches. The cultural needs of the population are catered for by a small theatre, art galleries and a regular music and literature festival.

The well regarded Oundle School is one of a number public schools in the area. Others include Oakham, Uppingham, Stamford and Kimbolton. A number of state schools are also available in the area.

The neighbouring cities of Peterborough and Cambridge offer excellent shopping facilities as well as mainline train services to London.

The properties are connected to mains electricity and water. There is no mains gas connected in the village of Achurch. Each property will have its own bio-treatment unit.
