Village housing scheme approved in Leicestershire

Published May 10th, 2017

Berrys has secured for private clients a scheme for 20 dwellings at the village of North Kilworth, Leicestershire.

The site is located outside the limits to development as shown in the Local Plan and its development would normally carry a presumption against development.

“However as the Council cannot demonstrate a five-year supply of housing land the scheme was considered as an opportunity to provide much needed housing to the District and was approved by Councillor at a recent committee meeting,” explained Val Coleby, a planning consultant at the Kettering office of Berrys.

“The Parish Council also endorsed the scheme,” she said.
