Village housing scheme approved at Foxton

Berrys has achieved consent for a village housing scheme at Foxton in Leicestershire on behalf of private clients.

Residential development at Foxton

The site is a former farmyard which sits outside the settlement boundary as shown in the Harborough Local Plan.

The farmyard site was promoted as a housing site first through the replacement Harborough Local Plan and then through the emerging Neighbourhood Plan for Foxton.  Whilst the Local Plan discounted the site for housing the Neighbourhood Plan was promoted through.
