Free HS2 seminars in Cheshire and South Staffordshire

Landowners and farmers likely to be affected by the proposed High Speed Rail line are being invited to attend HS2 Seminars in Cheshire and South Staffordshire to find out more details and access free impartial advice from specialists.
The seminars are being organised jointly by Berrys, the CLA and Brabners on Monday March 4 at two venues: Crewe Hall Hotel, Crewe from 9:45am until noon and at Moat House, Acton Trussell from 2.30pm to 5pm.
The seminars will give the latest information on the scheme and impart vital information on how to protect your property and assets from the potential damage caused by HS2.
Drawing on experience of phase 1, Andrew Shirley, CLA Chief Surveyor will outline the Exceptional Hardship Scheme while Graham Bowcock of Berrys will discuss the practical issues of compensation and safeguarding your interests for the future.
Iain Johnston, Head of Planning at Brabners will cover the Phase 2 implementation timetable, key procedural experience from the Phase 1 routes and the Hybrid bill process and how to influence and change the route by petition.
