Berrys adopt Air Ambulance as recognised charity for second year running

Published April 18th, 2013

Following a successful fund raising year, leading chartered surveyors group Berrys has chosen the Air Ambulance Service as its recognised charity for a second year.

Last year Berrys staff across the Midlands and North West raised more than £5,000 for the Midlands Air Ambulance, the North West Air Ambulance and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air.

“We adopted Air Ambulance as our first ever recognised charity last year and following a successful, mutually beneficial relationship, I am pleased to announce that the Air Ambulance will be our charity for the coming financial year as well,” said Emily Barber, Berrys marketing manager.

Staff held a number of different fundraising events including quizzes and sponsored walks and they will be planning a busy timetable this year too.

The Air Ambulance is an independent charity providing a life saving, rapid response emergency service to millions of people across the country. It flies seven days a week, 365 days a year, covering a vast landscape that not only includes towns, cities and motor ways but also rural areas and isolated locations.
