Berrys is expanding its professional services at Shrewsbury with the appointment of two new surveyors to the team.
Emily Meredith joined the office in July to work as a surveyor and is studying for her Assessment of Professional Competence examinations to become a full member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
A 2013 graduate from Harper Adams University, Emily has a rural background and brings experience gained from working at other surveying practices in the area. She will be assisting surveyors Chris Jones, Matt Anwyl and Sarah Reece at Shrewsbury across a range of key areas including rural agency, estate management, valuations, landlord and tenant matters, Basic Payment Scheme, and environmental schemes.
The latest addition to the team is Charlotte Rogerson a qualified RICS surveyor and probationer member of the Central Association Agricultural Valuers.
Also a graduate of Harper Adams, Charlotte obtained a first class honours degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management in 2011 and has since worked as graduate land agent on the 100,000-acre Buccleuch Estates in Dumfries and then as a rural surveyor in the north of England with George F White.
She comes from a Northumberland farming family and enjoys game and clay pigeon shooting and keeping her hand in practical farming when she can.
There has also been further expansion in the planning and development team at the Shrewsbury office with the appointment of Julia Whately who is spending a year on placement as part of her City and Regional Planning degree course at Cardiff University. Julia has a Shropshire agricultural background, having grown up on a farm in Craven Arms.
“This year has seen considerable growth for Berrys at the Shrewsbury office and we look forward to having these new team members on board to help with our busy and varied work load,” said Chris Jones, Berrys partner at the Shrewsbury office.
