Published December 3rd, 2013
A Northamptonshire surveyor is celebrating after passing his professional examinations.
Duncan Batty, 28, who works in at The Towcester office of chartered surveyors Berrys, has gained full membership into the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors after successfully passing his Assessment of Professional Competency examinations at first sitting.
Since joining Berrys last year Duncan has worked predominantly with the firm’s associate partner Andrew Tompson developing the commercial agency at the Towcester Office. He also works alongside senior practitioner Marcus Blake and corporate partner Duncan Scott on other agency projects, valuations and planning.
Duncan is originally from the Yorkshire area and studied for his degree in Estate Management at Northumbria University, spending his placement year working in the retail agency and valuations departments at property consultants Sanderson Weatherall in Newcastle upon Tyne.
After graduating he took part in the International Student Volunteers programme in New Zealand, contributing to community projects including tree planting, landscaping, primary schools visits and seminars. He has also travelled and worked throughout Asia, Australasia and America.
Congratulating him, Berrys’ associate Andrew Tompson said: “We are extremely pleased for Duncan. He has worked hard for his examinations and has been a key player in developing our commercial and residential property services at Towcester.”
Duncan lives in the Milton Keynes area and can be contacted at Berrys’ Towcester office on 01327 356140 or email email@example.com
