New tenant found for large office premises in Kettering

Published February 20th, 2018

The off-market letting of one of the largest office buildings in Kettering is an indication of increasing activity in the commercial property market in the area.

Property, business and planning firm Berrys is delighted to announce the letting of Newspaper House, 10,000 sq ft of office accommodation, to Total Computer Networks Ltd.

The landlord, a London based property company, brought in Berrys in the early part of last year to carry out market discussions with potential tenants.

“We were able to find a tenant without going on the open market,” said Simon Parsons, commercial property specialist based at the Kettering office of Berrys.

“Total Computer Networks of Kettering have agreed terms on a new lease and will vacate from their existing accommodation at Brooklands Court, Kettering Venture Park and relocate to the property once their fit-out works are completed,” he said.

The previous tenants, the Newspaper Group, vacated the property in 2015 and following abortive negotiations with another company, conversation with Total Computer Network starter earlier in 2017.

“The letting represents one of very few such transactions in Kettering, with the property providing in excess of 10,000 sq ft of refurbished and high quality office accommodation,” said Mr Parsons.

“Retaining TCN in Kettering is great news for the town when these size opportunities are limited.”
