A chartered valuation surveyor who in his spare time enjoys cycling and charity fund raising has joined the growing commercial property team at the Kettering office of Berrys.

Darren Pape will be working mainly with Berrys’ partner Chris Noble, primarily providing commercial valuation and lease advice.

Darren graduated from the University of the West of England with a master’s degree in Real Estate Management in 2007 and qualified as a chartered valuation surveyor in 2009.

He has worked in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire and has a wealth of experience of commercial and residential property across the northern Home Counties, East Anglia and the East Midlands.

He provides valuation advice to a range of banks and private and public sector clients for purposes, including secured lending and company accounts, within the retail, office, industrial and residential sectors. He also undertakes landlord and tenant work across all commercial property sectors.

Outside the office, Darren is a keen cyclist, riding both for pleasure and to raise money for charity. In 2016 he rode from Carcassonne to Barcelona via Port d’Envalira over four days and in June he will donning his lycra again riding from Geneva to Milan to raise funds for Bloodwise.

“Again I will be riding with ‘The Green Army’, a group of cycling enthusiasts who have raised more than £200,000 for charity taking on sponsored challenging rides across the world,” said Darren.

“On my first trip last year we raised more than £40,000 for Bloodwise and we are hoping we can exceed that this year,” said Darren.
