Staff at Berrys presented £2133.97 to Midlands Air Ambulance at RAF Cosford earlier this month to support the vital, life-saving work carried out by thcharity which has no funding from government.
The donation follows a successful sponsored walk from Berrys Shrewsbury office to their office at Hereford which raised £4267.94 in total, split 50/50 between Midlands Air Ambulance and Meningitis Research.
The walk marked the first anniversary of Berrys’ Herefordshire Office moving into Hereford City Centre last year.
“Air Ambulance is our chosen charity for the year and we are delighted to support them,” said Matthew Anwyl, managing partner of Berrys.
“We had a tough weekend completing the 57-mile hike from Shrewsbury to Hereford but seeing the money rolling in made all our aches and blisters worthwhile,” he added.
Berrys will present the other half of the funds to Meningitis Research shortly.
