Berrys is seeking a proactive planning consultant to become part of their busy and expanding town planning and surveying practice in our Kettering office. The successful applicant would be involved in a wide range of projects, assisting colleagues in all aspects of planning, from site visits and research to putting together applications, supporting documents and appeals.

Commercial Property Administrator - Oxford

A new role has arisen for an experienced administrator to be based in the Oxford office to provide support and organisation to the Agency Property Manager. This role will involve liaison with clients within the office and by telephone. The applicant will need to be well presented, friendly and articulate. The successful applicant will have proven administration abilities, be well organised, able to work under their own initiative and to strict timescales.

Valuation Surveyor - Shrewsbury

We are looking for an experienced general practice chartered surveyor to join our Shrewsbury office to undertake valuations on a broad range of commercial and residential assets. The role will require travel through Shropshire and adjoining counties. Responsibilities / Duties • The preparation of commercial and residential valuations undertaken on behalf of a number of major clearing banks and private clients including pension funds. • Advising a significant portfolio of national charities in connection with the disposal and valuation of all types of property. • Assisting in the expansion and development of the office and our valuation team.

Senior Building Surveyor - Shrewsbury

An opportunity has arisen for a senior Building Surveyor to join Berrys’ busy and expanding Building Consultancy team. This individual would be based in the Shrewsbury office, with a Graduate Building Surveyor reporting to them, and be responsible to the Head of Building Consultancy based in our Kettering office. The role is primarily focused on commercial property building surveying but an understanding of residential surveys is desirable.

Drainage Engineer - Shrewsbury

Our planning and development department is an integral and fast-expanding part of the firm. The team has extensive experience in the delivery of a broad range of planning and development jobs across several sectors. Our strengths lie in the attention to detail we apply to every aspect of a project – from outset to completion. We offer a complete planning and development service from initial site assessment and feasibility advice, preparing detailed building designs, obtaining planning and building regulation consents, through to construction project management. An opportunity has arisen for a Drainage Engineer to provide Berrys with Drainage and Flood Risk Services. The position is based at our Shrewsbury office with work predominantly based in our Planning & Development service. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Planning. The right candidate will have the opportunity to develop the service within the business, eventually leading a team in this specialism.
