IT Support Technician - Kettering

The position of IT Support technician will report to the IT Manager and be based in the Kettering office. The Berrys IT Infrastructure is a Windows environment with a mixture of Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2012 both physical and virtualised servers. There are over 100 users using both Windows 7 and Windows 10 laptops and desktops. The successful applicant will: • Be responsible and manage all support incidents and requests • Provide both software and hardware support • Administer Active Directory, Office 365 and the cloud-based Phone system • Provide support both at the deskside and via remote takeover • Escalate and manage tickets to 3rd party suppliers • Build and install new hardware • Assist with IT projects

Architectural Technician - Shrewsbury

Our planning team has over 100 years of collective experience in the delivery of every kind of planning application. We serve a large and expanding client base, across a broad range of sectors – from outset to completion. The Shrewsbury office has a strong team of Planning Consultants and to support this work we provide in-house architectural services to existing and new customers with agricultural, residential, commercial and development property interests. Our portfolio of work has grown to such an extent there is now a need to appoint an additional individual to provide architectural services within the Shrewsbury office. They will be joining a team of three architectural technicians and a Design Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to progress your career amongst a highly supportive and successful team.

Valuation Surveyor - Shrewsbury

We are looking for an experienced general practice chartered surveyor to join our Shrewsbury office to undertake valuations on a broad range of commercial and residential assets. The role will require travel through Shropshire and adjoining counties. Responsibilities / Duties • The preparation of commercial and residential valuations undertaken on behalf of a number of major clearing banks and private clients including pension funds. • Advising a significant portfolio of national charities in connection with the disposal and valuation of all types of property. • Assisting in the expansion and development of the office and our valuation team.

Senior Architectural Technician / Designer – Part II / III - Kettering

Our planning team has over 100 years of collective experience in the delivery of every kind of planning application. We serve a large and expanding client base, across a broad range of sectors – from outset to completion. The Kettering office has a strong team of Building Surveyors and Planning Consultants and to support this work we provide in-house architectural services to existing and new customers with agricultural, residential, commercial and development property interests. Our portfolio of work has grown to such an extent there is now a need to appoint two individuals to architectural positions at differing levels to service the clients of the Kettering office. Based in Kettering, this individual would work with the planners and building surveyors within the Kettering office and be overseeing a junior member of architectural staff, and also be part of the wider design team, based in Shrewsbury, consisting of four architectural technicians.

Senior Building Surveyor - Shrewsbury

An opportunity has arisen for a senior Building Surveyor to join Berrys’ busy and expanding Building Consultancy team. This individual would be based in the Shrewsbury office, with a Graduate Building Surveyor reporting to them, and be responsible to the Head of Building Consultancy based in our Kettering office. The role is primarily focused on commercial property building surveying but an understanding of residential surveys is desirable.

Highways Engineer / Transport Planning Consultant - Shrewsbury

Development planning is at the very core of our business, and we bring significant added value by integrating a range of in-house services. We have a multi-disciplinary team of Town Planners, Architectural Technicians, Land and Building Surveyors. An opportunity has arisen for a Highways Engineer / Transport Planner to provide Berrys with Transport Planning Services. The position is based at our Shrewsbury office with work predominantly based in our Planning & Development service. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Planning. The right candidate will have the opportunity to develop the service within the business, eventually leading a team in this specialism.

Drainage Engineer - Shrewsbury

Our planning and development department is an integral and fast-expanding part of the firm. The team has extensive experience in the delivery of a broad range of planning and development jobs across several sectors. Our strengths lie in the attention to detail we apply to every aspect of a project – from outset to completion. We offer a complete planning and development service from initial site assessment and feasibility advice, preparing detailed building designs, obtaining planning and building regulation consents, through to construction project management. An opportunity has arisen for a Drainage Engineer to provide Berrys with Drainage and Flood Risk Services. The position is based at our Shrewsbury office with work predominantly based in our Planning & Development service. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Planning.
