Grants of up to £50,000 are now available for projects in rural areas across the UK in the spring round of The Prince’s Countryside Fund Grant Scheme.
In total £300,000 will be available for rural projects from The Prince’s Countryside Fund and the grant application window will be open until February 21, 2019.
Set up in 2010 by HRH The Prince of Wales, the charity aims to improve the prospects of viability for rural communities and farm businesses. Every year the Fund gives out over £1 million in funding, and can support projects for up to three years.
The Fund aims to support projects that sustain rural communities, improve viability for farm and rural businesses and support aid delivery in emergencies.
